Artistic approach

I work in digital collage, using visual fragments that I select, cut out, transform, layer and assemble to build my works.

The fragment lies at the heart of my work. A face can be recomposed from several elements; a texture, a plant, a gaze or a detail can completely change the presence of a figure. I work in successive layers until the different fragments find their place within a single composition.

The female figure returns naturally throughout my series. I transform her without trying to erase her expression. Depending on the work, she merges with plants, animals, textures or more graphic elements.

Each series develops its own world, yet I always come back to the same way of building: starting from separate elements and bringing them together to reveal a new work.
